Moodle: Using Quiz for Classwork
I have started using the Quiz assignment for classwork instead of a worksheet or book work when possible. Students see the ones they missed after they take the quiz, not the correct answer and I let them submit multiple times. To me, this is so much better than giving them an assignment, checking it for completion, and then giving them the answers. With Moodle, they get immediate feedback. They are motivated to ask for help and keep trying until they reach the score I tell them they must make. The results go straight into the Moodle gradebook and you can set it to just show you their highest score. I am loving the improved motivation!!!
